Implementation Roadmap

Setting up a Family Trust typically takes 1 to 3 months. Below is the 4-step process we follow to ensure a smooth and high-quality implementation.

Step 1

Consultation & Design

We listen to your family's needs and current asset situation to design the best trust structure (Settlor, Trustee, Beneficiaries, and Successors).

Step 2

Drafting & Coordination

Based on the design, we draft the legal contract and coordinate with financial institutions (banks) to ensure they will accept the trust structure for account management.

Step 3

Notarization

All parties meet at a Notary Office to sign the contract as a Notarial Deed. This provides the highest level of legal proof and prevents future disputes.

Step 4

Registration & Handover

We handle the official registration of real estate at the Legal Affairs Bureau and provide a comprehensive implementation report to the family.

Trust vs. Guardianship

Family Trust

  • Proactive asset management (investments, sales) possible.
  • Low ongoing costs (no court supervision fees).
  • Can designate successors for multiple generations.

Adult Guardianship

  • Strict court supervision (focused on asset preservation).
  • Ongoing professional fees (if external guardian appointed).
  • Hard to terminate once started.
